We hope that everyone had the most wonderful festive period and that you are bouncing in to 2026 full of enthusiasm. However, with our more realistic hats on, many of us will be nursing some sort of hangover, whether of the conventional kind (hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!) or perhaps of a more financial kind.

I have it on 'good authority' that, however planned the Christmas spending was, when viewed in the cold grey light of January, it always looks worse... (those last minute panic purchases get me e-v-e-r-y-t-i-m-e!) Suffice to say my family are now accustomed to an annual dramatic January proclamation that we shall be spending 'precisely nothing' and supping on watery gruel until at least April. Except... that is... if someone would come up with a cunning plan to save me some money in the long run, and make life's essential spending easier to budget for...

And that is precisely what our pay monthly subscriptions are designed to do. A single affordable monthly direct debit gives you immediate access to an allowance of private GP appointments to use as needed over the next 12 months. Solo subscribers get 6 appointments, Nest subscribers get 10 appointments to share with up to 6 people, Nest Plus subscribers get a whopping 18 appointments to share with up to 10 people. In so doing you will be saving up to 20% on the cost of your consultations over the course of the year. As importantly, at this traditionally frugal time of year, you are spreading their cost nice and evenly, rather than having to check your balance at any given moment to see if you can afford to be ill that month!

Other perks of being a subscriber include

- free repeat prescription requests (usually £15 per request)
- priority access to our appointments - both through your exclusive subscribers only online booking portal, and because we hold back an allocation same day slots until around 10am each day to maximise your chances of a same day slot if required.
- trade-in options - if you have not used your full allocation of appointments you can trade some in, in the final 2 months of your subscription year - either for blood tests and other non-consultation services, or for a reduced price on renewal - it's a second bite of an already pretty juicy cherry!
- you choose your fellow subscribers with zero restrictions - members on our Nest and Nest Plus subscriptions do not need to be living at the same address, nor do they need to be blood or legal relatives. Of course, in practice they often are one or both of those things, but really, anyone you would like to give access to our service is good with us. SME owners - the Nest Plus subscription is very popular with your peers- and if you need something to cover more members we are always happy to look in to a bespoke package.
